Meg Tully

Picture
Meg Tully has taught AP European History at UHS since 2011. She has been coordinating international student tours since 2013 and continues to take large groups of students to Europe and other international destinations every summer. Ms. Tully has also been an experienced group leader trainer on EF training tours, teaching new educators from across the country how to take students on tour internationally. The ability to offer invaluable experiential learning opportunities and life skills to students has been the most rewarding aspect of this activity for her. The classroom connections both before, during, and after tour allow kids to understand and experience history in a transformative way. Ms. Tully's favorite destination is Italy, and in particular Rome for its deep layers of history and culture.

Whitney Sheets

Picture
Whitney Sheets has taught AP World History at University High School since 2012, and has taught AP Art History since 2014. She joined Travel Club in 2015 and most enjoys the connections made with students on these tours, and seeing students experience total excitement over what they are learning and seeing. Her passion is art history, and UHS Travel Club makes an effort to always include art historical connections while on tour to help the subject come alive, whether it be through the Art History specific Spring Break tour, or on the international summer tours. Her favorite travel destinations are England and Ireland.
