Paying For Your Trip

EF Payment Plans

EF offers three payment plans for travelers. The amounts of each installment depend on how far in advance the traveler is enrolled on the trip.

Bi-Weekly Payments
Automatic payments; installments will be taken every other week.

Monthly Payments
Automatic payments; installments will be taken every month - you can contact the EF support team if you prefer the payments to occur on a particular day of the month.

Manual Payments
This plan allows you to make payments of any amount at any time. This plan is recommended for families who are expecting large amounts of tax credit donations. Selecting this option will incur higher up-front costs; to circumvent this, you can either enroll on an Automatic plan and then switch to Manual, or enroll over the phone through the EF Customer Service line and they'll drop the up-front costs.
EF's Built-In Donation Page
Every student's EF Account comes with a built-in donation page, similar to GoFundMe, that can be shared to anyone for direct contributions. These are not tax deductible contributions, but can allow students to fundraise from anyone, anywhere.

Arizona Tax Credits

AZ Tax Credits allow Arizona taxpayers to direct the State to pay into educational programs. Simply put, your direct payment is refunded in full when you file your taxes.

In-state contributors to a traveler's account have the option to use Arizona Tax Credits in addition to regular contributions. Single tax filers can contribute up to $200, or $400 for joint filers.

Employer Matching Contributions

Employer-Match contributions are allowed, but it is the responsibility of the employee to follow up with their company and ensure the contribution comes to the UHS Travel Club in time to be added to your traveler's account. Contact your Tour Leader for further information and coordination.
